Karnak Temple is a large ancient temple complex in Luxor, Egypt. It was mainly dedicated to the god Amun and was built over 2,000 years by many pharaohs. The most famous part is the Great Hypostyle Hall with 134 huge columns. Karnak was a religious center and connected to Luxor Temple by the Avenue of Sphinxes. It includes obelisks, sacred lakes, and tall gates. Today, it’s a popular tourist site and part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
Visit Luxor Temple on the east bank of the Nile, built by Amenhotep III and expanded by Ramses II.
