Itinerary

The day begins with arrival in Luxor by sleeper train from Giza, followed by hotel check-in. The tour starts with a visit to Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex in ancient Egypt, famous for its massive columns and sacred lake. After lunch, the journey continues to Luxor Temple, located in the heart of the city and closely linked to the Opet Festival. The day ends with returning to the hotel for rest and dinner.

Itinerary:

  • Take the sleeper train No. 1086 from Giza Station, arriving in Luxor at 8:35 AM.
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Around 10:30 AM, depart to visit Karnak Temple.  Karnak Temple is one of the largest religious complexes in the world, dedicated mainly to the god Amun. It features grand halls, massive columns, and sacred lakes, reflecting over 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history.
  • Enjoy lunch at 1:00 PM.
  • at 3:00 pm Depart to visit Luxor Temple. Luxor Temple is located in the heart of the city and was dedicated to the rejuvenation of kingship. Unlike other temples, it was not dedicated to a single god or pharaoh but was used for festivals, particularly the Opet Festival, linking it with Karnak Temple.
  • Return to the hotel for rest and dinner.

The day starts early with a breathtaking hot air balloon ride at sunrise, offering panoramic views of Luxor, the Nile, and the surrounding temples. After breakfast, the tour continues to the Valley of the Kings, home to the tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs including Tutankhamun. Next is the Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning monument built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, followed by Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III, known for its remarkable reliefs.   • Pick-up from the hotel between 4:00 – 5:00 AM (depending on hotel location). Hot Air Balloon Ride  once-in-a-lifetime experience to see Luxor from the sky.   • From 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM – Visit the Valley of the Kings

  • At 3:00 PM Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Return to the hotel for a short rest.
  • At 6:30 PM – Felucca Ride on the Nile, enjoying a peaceful evening on the river and watching the sunset over Luxor.
  • At 9:00 PM – Evening walk in Luxor’s Tourist Bazaar, exploring local shops, souvenirs, spices, and handicrafts.

  > The Temple of  Seti I  at Abydos is one of the most sacred sites in ancient Egypt. It is renowned for its detailed and beautifully carved reliefs, considered among the finest in Egypt. Abydos was believed to be the burial place of  Osiris, god of the afterlife, making it a major religious center. The temple also contains the famous  Abydos King List , which records the names of many pharaohs of Egypt.

  • At  2:00 PM – Depart from Abydos Temple.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • from  3:00 PM Return to the hotel starting   Note: It is important to leave Abydos before 4:00 PM, as the road closes after this time, which would require an overnight stay in the Abydos area.
  • Arrive back at the hotel and enjoy dinner.

The site includes the remains of their houses, chapels, and beautifully decorated tombs of the workers themselves. The vibrant wall paintings show scenes of daily life, family moments, and devotion to the gods, offering a rare insight into the lives of ordinary ancient Egyptians.
  • At  10:30 AM – Visit the Tombs of the Nobles  > The Tombs of the Nobles contain hundreds of tombs belonging to high officials, governors, and courtiers of ancient Egypt. They are famous for their colorful and well-preserved wall paintings, which give us valuable details about the social, economic, and cultural life of ancient Egypt.

  • At  2:00 PM – Visit the Mummification Museum   > The Mummification Museum in Luxor explains the secrets of the ancient Egyptian art of mummification. It displays tools, canopic jars, coffins, mummies of people and animals, and informative panels that show how the ancient Egyptians prepared for the afterlife. It is a small but fascinating museum that provides great insight into one of Egypt’s most mysterious traditions.
  • at 4:00 PM  Return to the hotel .

After breakfast and hotel check-out, the tour begins with a visit to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, famous for its detailed reliefs depicting the battle between Horus and Seth. Next, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to Horus the Elder and Sobek, with the nearby Crocodile Museum showcasing mummified crocodiles. After the visit, travel to Aswan for hotel check-in and rest.   • Visit from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM The Temple of Horus at Edfu  is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Built during the Ptolemaic period, it features grand pylons, magnificent courtyards, and richly decorated walls that tell the story of the eternal struggle between Horus and Seth. It offers one of the clearest examples of how Egyptian temples looked in ancient times.
  • At  10:30 AM, depart towards  Kom Ombo Temple . Arrive at  12:30 PM
  • Visit Kom Ombo Temple > The Temple of  Kom Ombo   is unique because it is dedicated to two gods:  Horus the Elder  (god of protection) and  Sobek  (the crocodile god). The temple is perfectly symmetrical, with duplicate halls, sanctuaries, and rooms for each deity. Nearby, the  Crocodile Museum  displays mummified crocodiles that were once worshipped in this region. The temple’s location on the Nile makes it especially scenic.
  • At  2:00 PM, depart towards  Aswan .
  • Arrive in Aswan around 4:00 PM and check in at the hotel.
  • 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Shopping Tour in Aswan’s Tourist Bazaar  > The Aswan Tourist Bazaar is a lively market filled with traditional handicrafts, colorful textiles, spices, perfumes, and souvenirs. It is the perfect place to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Nubian culture, bargain with local vendors, and pick up unique gifts to remember your trip.
  • Return to the hotel at 9:00 PM for overnight stay.

Next is the Aswan High Dam, a major engineering achievement controlling the Nile and forming Lake Nasser. Then visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an open-air display of ancient stoneworking techniques.   • Arrive at 9:00 AM – Visit until 11:00 AM  > The Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess isis, is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. It was relocated to Agilkia Island after the construction of the High Dam to save it from flooding. The temple features elegant colonnades, detailed reliefs, and a magical island setting, often called the  Pearl of the Nile.
  • 11:30 AM – Visit the High Dam .Arrive at  12:00 PM – One-hour tour

  > The Aswan High Dam, completed in 1970, is one of the most important modern engineering achievements in Egypt. It controls the flooding of the Nile, provides irrigation, and generates hydroelectric power. Behind the dam lies  Lake Nasser  , one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.

  • 1:30 PM – Lunch  at a local restaurant.
  • 2:30 PM – Visit the Unfinished Obelisk  > The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan shows how ancient Egyptians quarried and carved the giant stone monuments. If completed, it would have been the largest obelisk ever built, weighing about 1,200 tons. Cracks appeared in the granite, so the project was abandoned, leaving behind an open-air museum of ancient stoneworking techniques.
  • 4:00 PM – Return to the hotel and rest.
  • 6:00 PM – Visit the Nubian Village & Sunset Felucca Ride > The Nubian Village  offers a colorful and authentic cultural experience with painted houses, friendly locals, and traditional markets. Sailing there by felucca  at sunset provides a magical view of the Nile and the golden desert hills.
  • 7:00 PM – Return to the hotel  for dinner and overnight stay.

The day starts very early with a trip to Abu Simbel Temples, built by Ramses II. The Great Temple is dedicated to Amun, Ra-Horakhty, Ptah, and Ramses himself, while the smaller temple honors his wife, Queen Nefertari. The temples are famous for their massive statues, rock-cut facades, and the twice-yearly solar alignment. After exploring Abu Simbel, return to Aswan for lunch and rest at the hotel before continuing the journey back to Cairo.

Itinerary:

  • 3:00 AM Wake up and get ready for the trip to  Abu Simbel Temple .
  • 4:00 AM – Pick-up from hotel   by an air-conditioned tourist vehicle. The drive takes about  4 hours through the desert road.
  • at 8:30 AM  Arrive  Abu Simbel & Begin the visit   > The  Temples of Abu Simbel, built by  Ramses II  in the 13th century BC, are among the most iconic monuments of ancient Egypt. The Great Temple is dedicated to the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as Ramses himself, while the smaller temple is dedicated to his beloved wife,  Queen Nefertari  The temples are world-famous for their massive rock-cut facades, colossal statues, and the twice-yearly solar phenomenon when the sun illuminates the inner sanctuary. In the 1960s, the entire complex was relocated by UNESCO to higher ground to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser after the construction of the High Dam.
  • 10:30 AM – Depart back to Aswan
  • 2:00 PM Arrive in  Aswan  and have lunch.
  • Return to the hotel for rest, then travel back to Cairo.
